World One Health Day will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 3, 2023. This initiative was created in 2016 to bring attention to the critical need for a trans-disciplinary approach to solving global health challenges and enhancing human, animal, and environmental health and well-being.

The WesternU One Health Day Panel, featuring the topic “One Health in Academia – Where can we fit in?,” will run from 4-7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 in the Health Education Center Lecture Hall 1. The Zoom link will be sent prior to the event, which is organized by the Senior Vice President for Research and Biotechnology Andrea Giuffrida, PhD, MBA, and the College of Veterinary Medicine.
