 nt. Through interactive sessions\, guided tours of our state-of-the-art fac
 ilities\, and immersive hands-on activities\, we aim to inspire and inform\
 , showcasing our academic and professional offerings. We welcome potential 
 students\, their families\, and community members to join in exploring the 
 world of veterinary medicine. \n\n \n\nPurpose of the Open House Event: \n\
 nThe purpose of our Open House Event is to foster meaningful connections wi
 thin our local community and professional partners while offering a compreh
 ensive exploration of our facilities. Attendees will be guided through imme
 rsive tours of our college's clinical\, curricular\, and laboratory facilit
 ies\, providing an introduction to our academic and professional offerings.
 \n\nMoreover\, this event serves as a platform to enlighten the public on t
 he vital role of veterinary professionals\, access to veterinary care\, and
  the significance of animals in our society. This is achieved through educa
 tional sessions\, insightful career talks\, and interactive hands-on activi
 ties that underscore the importance of our field and its impact on both ani
 mal and human well-being.\n\n \n\nWestern University of Health Sciences Col
 lege of Veterinary Medicine will host our 18th Annual Open House Event on A
 pril 11\, 2025\, from 9am to 2pm.  This event is organized and run by our S
 tudent Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Activities w
 ill include tips on pet care\, live animal learning exhibits\, including a 
 reptile exhibit\, mobile petting farm\, K9 demonstration\, information on h
 ow to become a veterinarian and of course food and drinks for your enjoymen
 t. There is sure to be something fun and educational for everyone!
